If you are suffering from hair loss, dandruff and looking for an effective solution to help get back those luscious locks, then you shouldn't overlook tea tree oil and lemon juice. Being a natural ingredient it wins hands down over your traditional store bought chemical based products. However being a natural oil it should be used with caution, it is not recommended you use the pure version of this oil, instead ensure it is diluted with another essential oil such as jojoba or almond oil before you apply to the scalp. Read on to learn the amazing properties of  oil and lemon.

Lemon dandruff cures

I fought dandruff for many years and tried many different shampoos, home remedies and herbs to clear up the problem including the popular lemon juice treatment for dandruff.
First of all the lemon for dandruff treatment is more effective for a person with oily flaky type of dandruff but it can also be affective if used moderately for a dry itchy scalp as well. Some people water down the lemon juice with a bit of warm water others just use straight lemon juice but its up to you and if you experience any stingy sensation you probably should water it down.
To apply the lemon mixture to your scalp simply take a cotton ball and dip it into the lemon mixture and dab on most effected areas. Do this until you have covered the driest parts of your scalp thoroughly.
Let the lemon mixture sit on your scalp for 15 - 30 minutes before washing your hair normally in the shower making sure to get rid of all the lemon. The lemon can be quite strong on your hair and strips most of your natural oils as well as removing dirt and dead skin cells. It's a great way to restart your scalp if you've just had enough and need to start a fresh.
The lemon juice is very acidic so be warned it can slightly tinge your hair color if you have brown or light colored hair. It's popular for people looking to lighten their natural hair color. You may find that it will overly dry your scalp and hair if you do it too often and I wouldn't do it more than 2 times a week.

Tree tea oil natural dandruff cures

One of the causes behind dandruff is the development of bacteria on the scalp, by applying tea tree oil to your regular shampoo it will help kill off any bacteria and fungus. Excess dry skin is also a common cause, and this build-up of dead skin and dandruff can result in the hair follicles becoming blocked preventing essential nutrients from getting in.
Tea tree contains natural moisturizers that will ultimately improve the overall manageability and condition of the hair. This nutrient rich oil will help restore the much-needed moisture to dry and frizzy hair, leaving you with silky smooth and well nourished locks. Moisture within the hair is vital in preventing breakage and therefore thinning of the hair, and by preventing these issues will result in the appearance of thicker hair.
